Jeevanvidya Mission
Jeevanvidya Mission is a non profit organization established in 1955 Maharashtra, India by Satguru Shri Wamanrao Pai for the material and spiritual upliftment of mankind. It is based on the "Jeevanvidya Philosophy" articulated by Satguru Shri Wamanrao Pai. Its core belief is in "importance of making efforts as opposed to becoming victims of fatalism". Satguru Shri Wamanrao Pai used to always say his famous line which translates in English as "You Are The Architect Of Your Destiny". It is one of the many spiritual movements in India.〔(India Today Magazine )〕〔(Spirituality Links )〕 The word ''Jeevanvidya'' is a Sanskrit word that can be broken down into ''Jeevan'' (meaning life) and ''vidya'' (meaning knowledge). The aim of this mission is to teach the common people the art of living a happy and prosporous life.
The mission has a strong presence (in terms of followers) all over Maharashtra and in various parts of India . The mission has its own website at http://www.jeevanvidya.org

On 8 and 9 February 2014, Jeevanvidya Mission established Kamothe Dnyanpeeth at Kamothe, Navi Mumbai . Jeevanvidya Dnyanpeeth is a unique project of Jeevanvidya Mission with the sole aim of imparting knowledge of Jeevanvidya philosophy to the entire mankind. The Jeevanvidya Philosophy is innovative, result oriented philosophy of life and art of harmonious living. Understanding
and implementing the concepts of this philosophy will help mankind to lead a prosperous, successful and happy life.
